A Chabad Yeshiva student became the target of a late-night attack by three teenagers in Crown Heights on Motzoei Shabbos.
The student, walking after Shabbos, noticed he was being followed for several blocks. Each time he crossed the street, the teens trailed him, making their intentions clear.
Growing concerned for his safety, the student began asking passersby for help.
Two of the teens, who were on scooters, fled the scene, but the third suspect confronted him aggressively, escalating the situation.
Near Kingston Avenue and Eastern Parkway, close to Lubavitch World Headquarters, witnesses saw the confrontation and rushed to help.
The attackers then assaulted the student, punching him in the head and injuring a witness who tried to intervene.
Crown Heights Shmira arrived shortly afterward and secured the scene until the NYPD arrived. Hatzalah treated the student for his injuries.
Despite witness statements and clear evidence of assault, the main suspect was released.

This incident follows four recorded incidents last week in Crown Heights, including a Jewish man severely beaten during an attempted robbery, a slashing attack on a Jewish man, a Jewish individual being aggressively knocked down, a man who harassed customers at a Kosher Cafe with antisemitic slurs, and an attempted kidnapping of a Jewish child. All the incidents involved non-Jewish black male perpetrators.

Get the community council to hand out guns and licenses
An additional idea, someone write a letter to President Trump now about the situation and all the things that have happened. As the President (in a month) he has the responsibility to keep us safe. And he generally does a good job at those type of stuff. (You could throw in a letter to Biden as well and see if something happens)
One of the hostages was told by one of her captors that if Eretz Yisroel had unity, they would not have been attacked. Unity protects ( and having kosher mezuzahs, giving tzedakah, learning Chitas, tzitzis, etc.)
Make sure that no one is walking alone at night, walk in groups of at minimum 2 or 3
But more if possible
The time has come for the younger generation needs to take responsibility for their own safety
Somebody needs to teach these attackers a lesson. It’s the only way it’ll stop. Every Jew at 22!!!

They are FULLY responsible for their actions. Far from being the sad, neglected victims you portray they actually think they rule the streets and behave accordingly.
