As the year comes to an end, and the 8th grade students of United Lubavitch Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway prepare to graduate, they decided to give something back to their school.
Led by students Mendy Zulauf, Yosef Tovshtein and Zalmy Franklin and with the help of their teacher Rabbi Harari, the boys collected funds to sponsor the supplies need to build a mobile tetherball court (well, almost mobile – it weighs about 400 lbs.) that will remain in the school for younger students’ use.
“After spending a long time in this school receiving a great education,” said one of the students, “we want to give something back for the younger classes.”
Rabbi Harari, you have inspired the boys in countless ways, thank for everything, may you be blessed with all your heart desires and may goodness and kindness follow you and your loved ones where ever you go.

Greatest school, the only school for our boys to go and feel wanted! Rabbi Dechter and his wonderful staff make kids feel special and wanted! What a difference from the big schools here where negativity is the order of the day… Unless you’re lucky enough to get a good Rebbi here and there…. Thank you ULYOP!! Greatest School, thank you Rabbi Dechter, Rabbi Baras and Rabbi Hararri ….
