Fascinating lectures, superb kosher cuisine and entertainment by Duo Re’im were enjoyed by the participants of the fifth annual European Jewish Retreat, held last week.
The Kempinskihotel Das Tirol in the world famous ski resort town of Kitzbuhel, Austria, played host to this year’s 5th annual retreat.
Men and women from all over Europe spent the June 8-11 weekend with insightful lectures, superb kosher cuisine and entertainment in the opulent surroundings.
Among the inspiring speakers were Israel’s Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger, former head of the Mossad Mr. Efraim Halevy, Chabad of Wimbledon Shluchim Rabbi Nissan Dovid and Sarah Dubov, Mrs. Feigy Lieberman, Rabbi Mendel Duchman of Los Angeles and Brussels based entrepreneur Mr. Claude Kandiyoti.
The guests enjoyed a hiking tour to the nearby mountains with the presence of Chief Rabbi Metzger.
The retreat was organized by the Brussels-based European Jewish Study Network, headed by Rabbi Sholom Liberow, and coordinated by Fleishman Productions.
No event is complete without a good dose of Jewish entertainment. Duo Re’im, popular Jewish singers from Israel, led a sing-a-long concert on Sunday evening.

i want to give a shout out for reb mendel, he was amazing, he warmed up the whole crowd from the way he introduced the chief rabbi from eretz yisroel to the way he spoke about the rebbe’s impact on the world.
He captured the audience both frum and non….
(lets not forget we Europeans are a different breed.)
but he uplifted and energized the gala banquet- with his varemkiet………kol kakovod …he made a true kiddush lubavitch.
