Head Shliach of Sydney, Rabbi Pinchus Feldman completed the sale of chometz in Australia Sunday night, on behalf of many of the Shluchim and rabbis of New South Wales and some from other countries.
It was sold to David Clarke, MLC, a member of the Legislative Council of New South Wales and Parliamentary Secretary to the Shadow Attorney General and Minister for Justice.
Mr. Clarke recently lauded the work of Chabad-Lubavitch in the state and around the world in an address at the NSW Parliament and was proud to help with the Jewish tradition of selling the chometz to a non Jew.
