Markham Was Circus-Themed

This year Chabad Lubavitch of Markham organized many Purim projects.

The community’s Bar Mitzvah Club delivered shalach monos in a limousine, the Bat Mitzvah Club girls brought joy to the elderly residents of an old age home, and the pre-school sang Purim songs in a local seniors center.

The climax of the day was a grand Circus-themed Purim celebration for the community. Hundreds came in their costumes and in true circus spirit heard Megillah, gave tzedakah, exchanged Shalach Manos and especially enjoyed the circus style feast.

Bochrim came as well to help bring excitement and make the party even more lively. They were wonderful and it made a real Kiddush Lubavitch.

Rabbi Plotkin and Rabbi Gitlin and shluchim families extend a big yasher koach to the entire Chabad Markham community for coming out in full force to be part of this years’ Purim celebration.
