Chabad of Southgate’s Purim celebration with extensive children’s program included face painting, games, mask decorating, and an assortment of arts and crafts for football-loving 11 year old Alex, 5 year old Princess Emily, and all the kids in between.
After the megilla reading, the adults enjoyed a festive Purim Seudah led by Rabbi Hirshel Kesselman with song, L’chaims, discussions and great food!
Besides celebrating Purim themselves, on Sunday the teens of Southgate Chabad spread the joy and went to a local nursing home to deliver Shalach Manos.
“I love visiting the Home,” said 13 year old Natalie. “They’re really happy to see us, and just knowing that I’m helping make someone’s Purim happier actually made me enjoy Purim more!”
Keep it up!
