The public is being asked to daven for the recovery of Rabbi Refoel Avraham Shmuel Bukiet, one of the Shluchim the Rebbe sent to Israel, who is battling Covid-19.
Rabbi Bukiet, 69, serves as the Mashpia of the Yisroel Aryeh Leib Shul (Hamiklat) in Kfar Chabad and has authored over 49 books and booklets about Torah and Chassidus.
He is currently anesthetized and on a respirator in the Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) in Tzrifin.
In a public letter, Kfar Chabad Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi said there was a “severe deterioration” in Rabbi Bukiet’s condition and called to recite Tehillim Kapital 20 and 70 in his merit.
An edition of the Tanya was printed in the intensive care unite where Rabbi Bukiet is hospitalized.
The name to daven for is Refoel Avraham Shmuel ben Esther Zisel.
