The Rebbe said that Yeshivos should stay open even during the summer!
Why does this not mean anything?! The Rebbe screams about something, and then everybody does whatever they want?! Do I understand from you – that regardless that the Rebbe said that kids should be learning during the summer, YOU hold just the opposite?

Good luck making an overnight camp where the young kids have to learn 7 hours a day and play for 2. I’m sure you’ll have a lot of success. I imagine you’ll get at least 2 or 3 campers. Hatzlocha!

Didn’t the Rebbe say that kids should be learning as much, and even more during the summer months?! All this “fun” is equal to sitting and learning? Didn’t the Rebbe scream at a Farbrengen of Yud Bais Tammuz 5745 – “s’iz ah vilde zach?!” about the concept of kids spending their time with “fun” instead of sitting and learning?! CGI detroit, whats amazing is youve got that perfect balance that as a parent we all want! Its fun and games together with such a chassidish and healthy foundation, the staff seems to be so devoted to giving the kids a super time in the perfect atmoshpere! thank you !!

I went in summer of 1990 and we didn’t have a pool or bikes and I don’t remember the head staff walking around in white shirts. What happened to camp t-shirts with the gan yisroel logo on the front that everyone used to wear???
