Rabbi Aharon Chaim and Pessi Notik of Fort Lauderdale, FL, along with their newborn son Yankel have just moved on Shlichus to Gainesville, FL.
The young couple will serve as Program Director/Associate Rabbi and will help maintain, grow and expand the work of The Tabacinic Lubavitch-Chabad Jewish Student and Community Center at the University of Florida.
His parents are Shluchim in Chicago, IL and her parents, Rabbi Yehuda and Chana Weiss, are Shluchim in Charlotte, NC.
“My family and I are privileged to join the family of Shluchim and we look forward to providing the Rebbe with Nachas Ruach from our work,” Aharon Chaim Notik told COLlive.com.
The new Shluchim were appointed by Rabbi Berl and Chanie Goldman.
“Joining the Goldmans, Gainesville provides an exciting opportunity to serve the needs of thousands of Jewish students at the University of Florida and the welcoming local community,” Rabbi Notik added.
They thanked Florida’s Head Shliach Rabbi Avrohom Korf and Chairman of Chabad on Campus International and Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky for their dedicated guidance and support.
