For the 3rd year, Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Crown Heights held a Nittel Nacht Chess Tournament for all students of Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Many students participated in this special event which took place in 770 and went on for several hours.
The tournament organizers say it is the best mivtza one can do just after Hei Teves, especially holding it in 770.
The tournament was organized by the Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s 8th grade program with the help of some of the Rebbis.
At the end of a long evening, there was one 1st place winner and one 2nd place winner from each grade.
The 5th grade winners:

The 6th grade winners:
Mendel Piekarski, 1st place
Ari Holtzman, 2nd place
The 7th grade winners:
Yisroel Aronov, 1st place
