Yes 13 you are right. The Schochets are malchus but let’s not forget the Schochet women-authors, educators, speakers, leaders. To name but a few: Chana Weisberg, Batya Lisker, Yehudis Farkash, Hadassa Spalter, Chana Wilhelm, Chana Silberstein, etc ect. What brains, what talent-what a family!
You hit the nail on the head. To all anash: Take advantage of the Schochet clan, attend their shiurim, hear their drashas, take in their wisdom and deep breath knowledge of halacha and chassidus… when Moshiach comes… the question will be asked: did you listen to the Gedolim of your age? Eh?
The Rosh in LA – R’ Ezra,, the Rov of Toronto R’ Dovid, the world-renown author and speaker – R’ Immanuel (a refuah shleima) and all the rest of the Schochets are mamesh POWERHOUSES of royalty. They are inspirational!!

Look, I did say “whether you are right or wrong is irrelevant“. This is because it really makes no difference. Fact is that the Rosh is pouring out his heart and encouraging something. When someone else comes along and starts debating if it is too tall an order or not, the point is cooled down and THAT is exactly Amalek.
Please learn the Maamar Zachor 5718 (just as one reference of many)
We need to hear more of this because we know its true and we need more encouragement and realization about it and we NEED TO DO IT!
Why are you calling my statement AMALEKI ? Every bochur has to learn “B’Darko” on his level. If The Rov would maybe not demand the heights of heights, but rather tell his students: “Do what you can, do to the best of your ability boyz”… something along those lines…

Rov Ezra Schochet in my opinion is one of the most deepest thinking rabbis in N. America, but his high level of hisboninus cannot be reached by every working man. That’s just my opinion.
