Not often would the Rebbe write a letter explaining what exactly is his profession. Rabbi Wolf Gringlas of Montreal elicited exactly such a letter back in 1944, when he offered the Rebbe condolences for the passing of his father. In this video, Rabbi YY Jacobson studies this fascinating letter.
Two years ago Gimmel Tamuz Rabbi YY Jacobson studied two letters of the Rebbe in the aftermath of the passing of his own father in 1944. The first letter explains “the Needle and the Water — The Turbulent Journey of a Soul.” The second letter explains “Four Levels of Resurrection: The Body, Animal Soul, Rational Soul, and Divine Soul.”
