The National Weather Service has forecast three to five inches of snow for New York City on Shabbos morning.
The NYC Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has issued a Hazardous Travel Advisory from late Friday night through Shabbos night.
Alternate side parking in New York City has been suspended citywide to facilitate snow removal.

On the website, residents can sign up for Notify NYC alerts, which provide information about severe weather events and emergencies.
Additional personnel will be brought in for snow fighting duty, the Incident Command Center will be up and running, and Local Storm Fighting Centers will be manned and activated.
