When Shluchim look for bochurim or girls to come down and assist in their Shlichus, they usually turn to COLlive Classifieds which, as many have testified, is the go-to resource for immediate and effective results.
Yet, now that help is needed for a family of Shluchim in Gloucester County, NJ, we were asked to feature it front and center and for good reason.
Rabbi Avi Richler, 29, recently underwent a successful donation of his kidney to a Jewish man suffering from end stage renal disease.
His wife, Mina Richler, said that she was not surprised when her husband first mentioned his intention to undergo surgery to help save another Jew’s life.
“Some people are blessed financially, and they give charity. Some donate their time. We’ve been blessed with good health,” and a healthy kidney to give to another, she told Lubavitch.com.
Now that the surgery is over and done with, however, and Rabbi Richler is recovering, Mrs. Richler has informed COLlive that she is in dire need of a helping hand.
“I am due to have my fourth child any day and my husband is still recovering from the surgery so he cannot lift, bend, or do anything too strenuous,” Richler wrote. “I have 3 year-old twin girls and an 18 month-old son.”
Richler is looking for a Lubavitch girl to help out for the next 2 weeks – getting her girls dressed, fed, and driving them to school, and general help with taking care of the house and the children.
She’s looking for a girl who is “energetic, loving, fun, patient and flexible. Pretty much to be a second pair of hands until I have the baby and then take over once baby is born.”
The job begins immediately and the girl will be paid.
If you do know anyone, please contact Mrs. Richler via email – jerseyjews@gmail.com or call 856-417-3220.
I’m a high school girl in 10th grade and I can come for two shabbosim.
I’d love to come help. I’m going away for a week now but as soon as i get back I really would love to do this. I’ll just have to put my jobs on hold but please let me know how we can set this up.
I live in another country, but I know of plenty of girls from Morristown, NJ who might be available… maybe ask Rabbi Solomon if he can suggest someone, he has many contacts

Here is their website. I have nothing to do with them, but I looked up their website, so anyone can donate to these wonderful shluchim.
HI, I am really inspired by the Richlers. Amazing people. I know you from before, and always thought you were special. I cannot help since I myself am married with a baby, but was wondering maybe if there are any seminary girls in crown heights who drives. Im sure BR seminary would understand if they wanted to come to you for a couple of weeks to help. Good luck, I hope you find someone soon. To anyone who might be thinking about going to the Richlers. I do know them a bit, you would be very happy to be there.
That’s beautiful! T”L
I’m a bubby myself and don’t drive, so I’m not what you are looking for in a mother’s helper. But do you need help paying for the girl you hire? I’m touched by your lifesaving chesed and would like to help if $$ is needed.
But i’m too young. But refuah sh’leima to the man of the house!
Kol Hakavod to you! Good luck! And besuros Tovos!
