Tomorrow, Tuesday, 2/16, sanitation trucks will pick up trash at the front of homes that usually have alley pickup.
For safety reasons, because of ice on the ground, sanitation trucks are not permitted to enter the alleys. There is a considerable amount of trash that has accumulated in the alleys since the snow two weeks ago.
Homeowners are encouraged to put trash at the curb. If you prefer you may bring your trash to the avenue at either end of your alley for pickup.
Trash must be put out tonight, Monday, as collection starts overnight.
