Over 60 rockets were fired at Israel on Shabbos, many of them intercepted by the Iron Dome system, including rockets aimed at the cities of Sderot, Netivot, Ashdod, and Be’er Sheva.
Just after 1:00 pm, a 10-story residential building in Ashdod was hit, and a car was damaged during a barrage of rockets on that city.
Four people were reported lightly wounded and were evacuated to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, Magen David Adom reported.
The explosion caused damage to an apartment and a number of the building’s balconies. Windows in the building shattered from the force of the blast.
One of the Chabad Centers of Ashdod is located on the ground floor of the building. The center is directed by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Friedman, who works under the head Shliach Rabbi Shneur Goodman.
Rabbi Friedman says it was a great miracle that there were no casualties from the blast.
“At the time of the explosion, most of the congregation had already gone home,” said Rabbi Friedman. “We were just a small group still there after the farbrengen we held to welcome those who had returned from the kinus Hashluchim.
“After we heard the explosion, and we realized the missile had hit our building, we went up the apartment that had been hit. The apartment was destroyed. It was a miracle, no one was in the living room at the time.”
Let the world tremble before the daily miracles that protect Hashem’s beloved people.
when the israeli government realizes that Hashem is protecting us they might be bolder and less apologetic for trying to protect their own people. Maybe then they will have the courage to go into gaza and simply bomb the WHOLE place. There is no such thing as ‘innocent’ civilians there, they are all terrorists and suicide bombers in training and in waiting for the go ahead from their head terrorists.

perhaps we can all do something together for the sake of Israel… maybe you can put up an article to spread the importance of mivtzah tefilin to make everyone aware of what it is that they can do at this crucial time. I think everyone feels that they’d like to do something..if they knew what! we need to remind ourselves what the Rebbe instructed during the 6 day war and IYH we will again see huge miracles and IYH everyone will be safe. may we have the ultimate Geulah now!
