The staff of Ohel Chabad-Lubavitch, the organization that oversees arrangements at the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s gravesite in Queens, are preparing to host the large crowd expected next week.
Each year, people from around the country and world come to the Rebbe’s Ohel at the Old Montefiore Cemetery to mark the anniversary of his passing on the third day of Tammuz.
Rabbi Abba Refson, director of activities at the Ohel Chabad-Lubavitch, says he has been working with his staff to ensure a smooth and organized experience for all visitors.
He requests that those who are planning to spend the Shabbos before Gimmel Tammuz – June 7-8, near the Ohel, should notify the office at info@ohelchabad.org or call 718-723-4545.
Those visiting the Ohel should be aware that new NYC regulations do not permit parking in front of the main Ohel center at 226-20 Francis Lewis Blvd.
