Red-Bearded Duo Led Lag Baomer

Temperatures in Florida ran high into the nineties, but Lag BaOmer excitement was higher!

Hundreds of Jewish children, along with their parents and extended families marched up University Drive, the main thoroughfare of downtown Coral Springs.

Beautiful floats were created by students at Rohr Bais Chaya High School, children from the Hebrew Academy Community School and bochurim from the Mesivta of Coral Springs.

The parade was escorted by police to stop traffic, while crowds gazed in wonder.

Later at Chabad of Coral Springs, which hosted the event, a spirited rally was led by the dynamic red-bearded duo, Shaya and Moishe Denburg.

The extravaganza attracted families from a wide area, some driving for more than an hour away, who enjoyed carnival games, water slides, pony rides and delicious food.

Organizers thanked the sponsors, Bulldog Adjusters, BH Cars, the Cohen and Clapman families. The event was coordinated by Shloime Denburg and the Chabad Centers of Coral Springs.
