Rabbi Shlomo Hochler, a Mashpia in Toronto, passed away on Shabbos at the age of 88. A student in the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Otvosk, Poland, he survived the war and emmigrated to Canada to become one of the founders of Lubavitch in Ontario. His wife Edith (Ita) passed away in 2006 and he is survived by his daughter Mrs. Chava Sarah Baron of Miami Beach, FL. The funeral will take place today (Sun), 3:00 PM at the Chabad Lubavitch Community Center in Thornhill, Ontario.
