On Sunday, March 29, hundreds of Jewish communities around the world will gather to hear a live broadcast of an address by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Chief Rabbi of the British Commonwealth.
Sacks is world renowned as a distinguished scholar and spiritual leader; he is addressing worldwide Jewry in a series of four webcast lectures to be held in honor of the Jewish “Year of Gathering” – Hakhel.
The broadcast, a project of Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI), will be screened live at each Chabad House.
True to the theme of unity, the Unity Lecture is designed for people with all levels of Jewish knowledge, and participants don’t have to have any prior experience or background of learning to attend and enjoy this lecture.
In preparation for the holiday of Passover, which commemorates the Jews becoming unified as a nation, this lecture will strengthen and intensify Jewish unity which was established thousands of years ago.
