Rabbi Chaim Mendelsohn was invited on behalf of the Canadian Federation of Chabad Lubavitch to an exclusive Garden Party with Queen Elizabeth as well as Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
The Garden Reception took place at Canada’s Rideau Hall, resident to the Governor General of Canada, where Rabbi Mendelsohn had the opportunity to inform the Queen about the scope and reach of the work of Chabad-Lubavitch in Canada and around the globe. The Queen, said Rabbi Mendelsohn, recalled that she had bestowed a prestigious award upon his colleague, Rabbi Arye Suffrin, who runs the Chabad Centre in London.
Rabbi Mendelsohn blessed the Queen with long life, health and happiness.
thats my queen!!! i live in london!!!!!
from your cusins in crown hights 😉
people are way too bored on collive. especially the hat comments. funny. but ridiculous. ppl who r into their suits ties and hats r not invited to meet the queens, world leaders, dignitaries. they r too busy buying fancy clothes and looking in the mirror. try to make a difference. not a fool out of yourself.
Being a Canadian, We Canadians have seen pictures of Queen Elizabeth. It is possible to see pic even if your not Canadian. Oh, canada…are homeand native land….LOL
Good Job!
im so impressed this is amazing !!!!!!!!
rabbi mendelson and his wife bassy and children are really nice, kind and amazing shluchim !!!
i had the honor to be by them on rosh hashana theyre hachnasa orchim is unbelievable!
With all due respect, and I do not know Rabbi Mendelsohn from Adam, the hat comments are super shallow and out of place.
It is obvious that this Rabbi has done what no other Chabad rabbi in Canada has done: I am very impressed it is a huge kiddush Hashem. Are COL commentators so shallow? please say it aint so…
just because u dont hvae any sence in stly for queens!1 do u no how posh that hat is!! get a life!!
Have you never seen English money? She’s all over it.
Anyway, she’s now in her mid-80s. How do you expect an old lady to look?
with no disrespect, the queen’d hat aint exactly the greatest either.
after careful research and analysis of the much discussed hat, using the latest technology (i.e i looked at the second picture) I can say with confidence that his hat is just fine it just appears to be bent out of shape because of the extreme “Lubavitch pinch” and the angle of the picture.
Having said that, send this Shliach a check!
GO LONDON!!!!!
Chaim is one of the most talented shluchim in the world! He works more efficiently than 5 people combined. No kidding. I know it first hand. He is gifted with incredible koach and meretz towards his shlichus.
Chaim knows what he’s doing, look at all the “hat” responses he got, now he’ll be getting gelt. Chevreh, shikt gelt asap! 🙂

And G-d bless Prime Minister Stephen Harper the most upright, moral and courageous world leader today!
I hope he recited the Bracha on seeing the Monarch. I’m surprised he didn’t wear his Kapote. it would have been appropriate.
