Kehot Publication Society is undertaking the large project of republishing the diary notes of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yoseph Y. Schneerson.
Known for his descriptive writing and rich narration, the Rebbe introduced important and genuine bits and pieces about the history of the Chabad Lubavitch Chasidic movement.
Some of these timely notes were printed in 5733 in an Israeli publication “Bitaon Chabad” and were not available ever since.
The editor of the series, Rabbi Aharon Leib Raskin of Crown Heights, an expert in the Previous Rebbe’s works, is matching that information with additional notes from manuscripts found over the years.
5 booklets of the re-edited diary have been published since Tishrei 5767 and the sixth in available for download (HERE) or at the Kehot bookstore.
Important information about the history of the first Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Schnuer Zalman of Liadi and his son Rabbi Dovber of Lubavitch can be found in the new 26-page booklet.
When the set is complete, the series will be grouped into a hard-cover book.
