I’m not sure if i understood correctly the one who benefits from this is the jew who is given the opportunity to connect to hashem by doing a mitzvah, the one who publicizes it is inspired and hopes to inspire others as well.
Rabbi Schwei once told me not to consider a conservative rabbi in a minyan as one of ten and I should not answer to his Kaddish amen. The Rebbe did not meet with certain Jews.
There are certain Jews especially in public that have excluded themselves from the Jewish traditions and we must be careful not to endorse their philosophical positions especially when it is diametrically opposed to Halacha.
Why is it only (mostly) Chabad who do these so called outreach mitzvahs? Who benefits? Is this done to show that even a monk can return to Judaism? What’s the story behind it?

There is nothing against halacha about one yid helping another do a mitzvah, as per the fact that you call him a meshumad he is not, he’s a tinok shenishbah. Kol hakavod to the rebbe’s shluchim this is how we bring moshiach when we reach every yid.

Honestly. In this guys garb used for his avoidah zara, How about the maris ho-ayin, and the fact that he is a meshumad….. I mean we need the guidance of a Rov on this. How far is too far, or, even while wearing a cross and a public christian figure it’s still alright??? Please enlighten us someone.

Rabbi Zippel helps the most “out there” jews that i’ve ever seen. if it’s not teens in treatment centers, it’s jews that are so far flung no one else looks for them. the rebbi would be proud….a true shliach. they don’t make them like him anymore
