Chanukah spirit was felt in the West Los Angeles, Pico Robertson neighborhood on Tuesday night the 4th night of Chanukah, at the annual “Light the Night” Chanukah Festival.
The event was coordinated by Shluchim Rabbi and Mrs. Amitai Yemini of Chabad Israel Center partnered with Wells Fargo Bank.
Over 1,000 people enjoyed carnival rides, face painting, balloons, Chanukah gelt, prizes, and an amazing fire-eating and sword-swallowing show.
DJ Moshilo brought the Chanukah spirit to life with live Chanukah music.
The highlight of the evening was the lighting of a giant Menorah, lit by a stiltwalker and the Israeli Consul General of Los Angeles, Mr. Uri Resnik and Mr. Danny Gadot.
The evening was a great success, with special thanks to Rabbi Berel Yemini and the volunteers who ran the show and exciting children’s rally. Also thanks to Yossi Percia photography.
