This year, hundreds of thousands of Jews around the world will be exposed to the Rebbe’s directive, that each and every Jew without exception, be present at the reading of the Aseres Hadibros, the Ten Commandments on Shavuos.
In partnership with Chabad institutions across all continents, the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) has published a special video explaining the uniqueness of the Jewish people gathered at Mount Sinai to witness the monumental receiving of the Torah, and its eternal message that comes to life once again every Shavuos.
To enable as many Jews as possible to heed the Rebbe’s call, the video has been translated and produced in ten languages: English, Hebrew, Russian, Greek, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, and Yiddish.
This project is dedicated in honor of the birthday of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, l’orech yomim v’shonim tovos, Chairman of the Rohr Jewish Institute, and Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch.
This initiative has been created in partnership with Chabad institutions on all continents, bringing one united message to people of all languages.
