The Governor of the State of New York, Kathy Hochul proclaimed “121 Days of Education” in the State of New York in honor of the one hundred and twenty-first birthday of the Rebbe.
The New York State Governor stressed the Rebbe’s global reach and influence and that today there are over 5,000 Lubavitch Centers in over 1,000 cities in 102 countries. The Governor said that for the last 83 years the Lubavitch movement has its World Headquarters in the City of New York.
The Governor concludes:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Kathy Hochul, Governor of the State of New York, do hereby proclaim official recognition from Sunday April 2, 2023 corresponding to 11 Nissan, 5783, the Rebbe’s 121th birthday, to Sunday July 31, 2023, corresponding to 13 Av, 5783 as 121 DAYS OF EDUCATION in the Empire state in commemoration of this 121st anniversary of the birth of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M Schneerson.
