Valley Chabad’s Friendship Club recently honored its teen volunteers by hosting an Evening of Appreciation at The Senior and Community Center at Tice’s Corner in Woodcliff Lake.
The Club presented its volunteers with certificates and gifts in recognition of their generosity and dedication. The evening also consisted of “What Makes You Tic?” a talk by Marc Elliot, a motivational speaker, on the topic of tolerance, and his own journey with Tourette’s Syndrome.
The Valley Chabad Friendship Club works to help families who have children with special needs by involving them in a range of unique social experiences. For further information about the Friendship Club, contact Program Director Chaya Goldin at 201-476-0157 or visit vcfriendship.com.
