Rabbi Sruli Menkes is the new teacher of grade 1 at the Rabbinical College of Canada – Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch, a Chabad boys school in Montreal, Canada.
Menkes, who grew up on Shlichus in Simcha Monica, California, will be moving from Crown Heights with his wife Toby (nee Miller) and their children Dovie, Mendel and Levi.
He recently graduated from the teachers training program of Menachem Educational Foundation, a Brooklyn based organization helping children in Jewish schools who are struggling to succeed in and out of the classroom.
Menkes’ appointment is part of a drastic shuffling in the “Yeshiva” elementary school led by the administrator Shimi Traurig and other volunteers.
Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum, Director of Yeshiva schools of Pittsburgh and associated with the Menachem Educational Foundation, is consulting the Montreal school.

Just like couples who go out on shlichus are posted on this site, so too couples who go out on chinuch shlichus should be posted. That would raise the (true and tremendous) value of going into chinuch

Your comment reeks of sarcasm and is lacking in appreciation to the selfless individuals who are giving of their time and money to save our yeshiva financially and academically
I don’t know of a single school that let’s parents know about new teachers before the schoolyear, it is simply not done
