A new couple is joining the Chabad-Lubavitch network in the West Coast: Rabbi Chaim Leib Hilel and his wife Miki will soon be heading to San Luis Obispo County, CA.
They will be serving the Jewish community located along the Pacific Ocean in the Central Coast of California.
Chaim Leib was raised in Montreal, Canada, and studied in Lubavitch Yeshivas in Israel and the U.S. His grandfather is Rabbi Sholom Ber Gurkov, Rosh Yeshiva of Postville, Iowa.
Miki (nee Zalmanov) was raised in Crown Heights.
Appointed by Head Shliach Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, the couple will also serve surrounding communities and Jewish students at Cal Poly College of Engineering (CENG).
We’re going to miss you here in NY.
