Young Shliach Sholem Doiver Mizrahi obm, a 3-year-old boy, tragically passed away after being hit by a car in Club de Campo Hacoaj on February 22nd, 2023.
The family has no comfort beyond this terrible fact. His mother, Abi, prays for his soul and takes care of her 5 other children. His father, the shliach Rabbi Shneor Zalman Mizrahi, in charge of the recovered temple of the Barracas neighborhood (2019), comforts his wife, hugs his children, and wonders how to bring light to the life of his family and the community.
Sholem was born in the same year that the Barracas temple was recovered. Since then, raising and caring for him and rebuilding the new Community Center have been intertwined projects.
Sholem is in the memories of his parents, his siblings, his relatives, and all those who saw him play, laugh and enjoy his short life.
The Community Center is a project that should make all of us feel proud. This project is for everyone. Therefore, we have started a campaign to support the reconstruction of a temple that for years, did not see the light of day, but now there is a unique opportunity to achieve this goal, with everyone’s help.
