Chof Beis Shvat was exceptional this year for the mothers and daughters of the Lubavitch Cheder Day School in Minnesota. Morah Chaya Rodal planned an exciting evening that was modeled on the actual Shluchos kinus banquet.
Each girl and her mother received an official kinus hashluchos name tag as she was greeted by a smiling cheder student.
The tables were decorated elegantly in blue and gold. The girls started off with a creative art activity. Decorating mirrors with puff paints. There were two activity tables set up and the girls worked carefully and politely with one another.
Delicious smells were coming from the kitchen as everyone took their seats and a video presentation of different women who knew the Rebbetzin played on the wall. The girls sat quietly and watched the videos with interest.
The delicious dinner was served while Chaya Mushka (Moussie) Feller, Mushka Friedman, Mushky Goldberg and Chaya Mushka Rubinfeld sang a special song about the Rebbetzin. Morah Rodal interviewed Lieba Grossbaum about what it is like being on shlichus.
Dessert was served just as Morah Ariella Hecht was about to start the Roll Call. S Paul, West S. Paul, Minnetonka and Inver Grove Heights were represented. Spontaneous dancing began right after the roll call. Even the mommies got up and danced…. a little.
Thank you so much to Morah Chaya Rodal for all the planning and careful detail that went into this wonderful evening. This spectactular event gave all the young girls a glimpse of the shluchos banquet they will one day, G-d willing, attend.

I was there and it was an amazing event! Name tags, appetizers, delicious meal and dessert, singing, Rebbitzin videos, dancing, Is It Shabbos yet-Shlucha version, and soooo much more! And… it was done by none other then my most AMAZING teacher ever!!! Morah Chaya Rodal!!! Of course, others helped including: Morah Chanie Haller, The Grossbaums and Goldbergs, and so many more!!! Thanks soooooo much!
