A man was discovered shot and killed on Empire Boulevard in Crown Heights on Monday morning.
According to witnesses, the man was discovered unconscious on the front steps of the home at 568 Empire Boulevard between Kingston and Brooklyn Avenues at approximately 10:15 am this morning.
An ambulance was called and the victim was found to have been shot.
Police have closed down the area for investigation. Main thoroughfare Empire Boulevard has been closed to traffic.
The assistance of Chesed Shel Emes was not needed.

Why is the whole street closed down? The victim is dead, and the shooter is long gone.
It’s called an investigation
They might need to investigate…. Forensics… (If there is any…)
U know…
Because if they didn’t you would complain the police were not doing anything about crime
Do some research on Police investigations so you can get an appreciation for how necessary this stage of the Investigation is
Why do Jewish landlords keep allowing their properties to attract illegal and undesirable activity?? The neighborhood is deteriorating rapidly!
It’s not these landlords allowing it. The issue is much larger. That’s why I kissed Brooklyn goodbye!
