After capturing the hearts, minds and attention of Lubavitch followers worldwide, the practical study booklet Dvar Malchus is going high class.
A leather binding with an antique finish in brown and burgundy developed by an Israeli company are now being offered for the weekly 160 page publication.
With 2 designs available, it comes with a strap that will hold on to the Dvar Malchus for travel or use at home.
“We have created this in response to many requests,” said Bentzi Reober of Roeber Bindery in Kfar Chabad, Israel, “Our goal is to enrich the learning experience.”
Products of Reober, a second generation family business specializing in classic leather bindings for the Judaica gift trade, are available in Crown Heights.
Mr. Reober tod COLlive that the product is already out of stock, but should be coming to New York Judaica stores in the coming months.
Dvar Malchus compiles the weekly Torah portion with Rashi’s commentary and Targum Onkelos, daily portions of Tanya, Hayom Yom, Rambam and Daf Hayomi in Gemara.
It also includes Chassidic teachings of each Lubavitcher Rebbe and especially of the current Rebbe: a sichah, maamar, and letters.
Over 70,000 copies are printed and are sent to hundreds of cities on all five continents.
