The Mishnayos Baal Peh program in Yeshivah Centre, Melbourne, Australia, has been running for 21 years, and was established in memory of Nosson Aharon Dzenciol z”l, a former student who passed on.
This past Motzei Shabbos, a Melave Malka Prize Giving ceremony was held at the Yeshivah Centre in Melbourne, Australia for the Mishnayos Baal Peh program, now in its 21st year.
This year there are over 170 students involved in the program who learn Mishnayos weekly. Over 66,664 lines on Mishnayos and Tanya were learned, 111 chapters of Tanya and 179 chapters of Mishnoyos.
The catered Melave Malka was well attended by the wider community. A few outstanding students were chosen to recite some of what they have learned. Both Rabbi Smukler, the principal, and Rabbi Telsner, the Rabbi, spoke, congratulating the boys who took part in this wonderful program.
All participants were presented with awards – Seforim that the students had preselected. Yosef Yitzchok Lipskier, Levi Szmerling and Yakov Dovid Gordon were awarded for learning the most.
We would like to congratulate all those students who participated in the program, and recognize the many hours they contributed to learning Mishnayos.
