For the second year Chabad of Cancun has lead the largest pesach seder in all of North America.
Attended by close to 500 people, the Seder took place in the Gran Caribe Real Hotel in the popular island resort off the northeastern tip of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula.
While Shliach Rabbi Mendel Druk did charge for participance, he notufues on his website “Every Jew is welcome to attend regardless of ability to pay.”
The young rabbi and his wife Rachel Druk were assisted by bochurim Izzi Rudolf and Dovid Perelman.
“We would like to thank the generous assistance and and chizuk always provided by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky and Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch,” the Druks said.
I think that YOU are the one that should check the facts. I have personally been to their sedarim, and although there are hundreds of people that come after their own seder, well over 500 participate with their rebbe’s seder beginning to end.
cancun?????
wasnt the biggest sedar one held 1000 ppl
whan ever izzy is involvd it is allwees a socses
You are incorrect… satmar, skver, and bobover do not have that large a seder… the chassidim come after their own seder to the rebbe’lehs one… check your facts!!!
There were a few seders in the US which had more than 500 participants, including those of the Satmar, Skver and Bobover Rebbes.
If chabad doesn’t don a kittel for the seder it’s good to see the chairs doing it in our stead…. Great work cancun
GOOD STUFF IZZY (RUDOLPH)!!!!!!!!!!

Kudos to the efforts of the druks. Izzy and dovie… Job well done!
one question for all these mega seders, do people really do the seder, do they hear the shliach talk?
