Over 1,000 people attended Chabad of Georgetown’s annual Lag B’omer festival, organized by Rabbi Avraham Holtzberg.
Participants enjoyed entertainment, good food, raffles, rides, music and a bonfire.
After the children heard the beautiful story behind the Lag B’omer celebration, many raffles with exciting prizes were distributed.
After that, the crowds of people were free to spend their time among numerous different attractions, including a giant pirate ship, amazing Velcro wall, wizard moonwalk, and horsesback riding and buggy rides.
Over 2,000 burgers and hotdogs were consumed in a delicious barbecue, accompanied by a large traditional bonfire, music, singing, and dancing.
