This article needs an FDA disclaimer. These claims are not medically proven.

Throughout my quarantine and battle with coronavirus, I’ve learned that the herb sativa had a positive impact.

Scientific Proof
May 5, 2020 12:18 pm

Please post your scientific citations that prove that your approach helps against Covid-19. I know of none. Without such proof your article is lacking. Yes, you do provide a citation that shows that herbs are helpful in general. I very much agree with that. But, at this time, there is ZERO proof that it will assist with Covid-19. Also, what are your scientific credentials aside from studying at Oxford? Thank you, Itzy.

I thought that it was an annoying sticky weed.

Thanks so much for this enlightening information. I need to start looking at things differently from now on.

There are a few other herbs endorsed by doctors

I have been following medcram which is put out by a pulmonologist treating covid 19 patients. He uses vit D 2500 iu for immunity, quercetin 500mg 2x a day with zinc. Quercetin is a zinc ionophore which works in a similar way to hydroxychlorophine. He also uses vit C which in high doses IV is used in some hospitals. Vit D is essential as those lacking vit D are shown to be more likely to have a poor outcome with covid 19. I am a licensed practical nurse

It's not fair...

…to attack the author by saying “no FDA evidence” etc etc, she was very clear with a disclaimer. We know that herbs can help and heal, they have since the beginning of time. My brother is a pharmacologist, and he goes all over the world purchasing raw plant material to be synthesized into drugs. These drugs (and their raw plant materials) have been thoroughly tested by the FDA. If little herb companies wanted to get into the big pharma arena, they would be FDA tested too. E.G.; Opium isn’t FDA approved, but morphine and other opioid derivatives are. Again, she… Read more »

where to get

I liked the tone this author presented. Could you provide safe/health sources for the cleaver? I assume one can’t pull one out of one’s backyard and eat it. Does it come in capsule form and available for purchase online? As long as it’s certified not unhealthy, what’s the downside? no one will treat symptoms just with this, but why not take it, regardless?

Those low in vit D are especially at risk
May 5, 2020 4:11 pm

According to studies of vit D and covid 19 those with low levels of vit D are 10x more likely to have a poor outcome. This was reported by dr john campbell on youtube. He cites sources for this report. So please everyone make sure you are not deficient in vit d. Please consult your doctor to check. I noticed when i took vit D every day i had no respiratory illness all winter. I am a nurse

Yes, Vit D3 and K2

D3 and K2 very helpful. There’s a frum man in Denver, Bob Kirschbaum, who’s a genius in these things.
