Head Staff of Shluchim Camp

The Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp, an annual memorable get-away for the children of Chabad Shluchim worldwide, has announced the head staff for its boys and girls divisions.

Malky Lerman and Rochee Shemtov, both of of Crown Heights, will be two head counselors leading the girls camp for ages 7 to 12, beginning on Monday, December 9 until Thursday, December 19.

The boys camp will be led by Berel Namdar of Sweden and Chaim Levi Cohen and Itchy Glassner of Montreal, Canada. It will be for boys aged 7 to 13, and starting on Thursday, December 19 until Monday, December 30.

“Both sets of head staff have ample experience spearheading and running several successful programs and camps,” said The Shluchim Office, the global Chabad-Lubavitch Resource Center which organizes the camp.

As reported on COLlive.com, the camp is relocating from Arizona to the permanent state-of-the-art campgrounds at Gold Coast Camp, a 20-acre property recently purchased by Chabad in South Florida.

In the new site, campers and staff will be enjoying many additional amenities such as air-conditioned buildings, a 7-acre paintball field, a lake with canoes, basketball and beach volleyball courts, ropes courses, climbing and challenge towers – and a large heated swimming pool.

The camp, which will be directed by Rabbi Benzion and Simi Shemtov, takes place for 10 days corresponding to most schools’ mid-winter vacation and the program is run by experienced, chassidishe head staff and counselors.

Original ideas and activities are being planned to make every moment of camp a Chassidishe learning and growing experience for every “Young Shliach” who joins us this year, organizers said.
