The gunpoint mugging of a yeshiva student by three perpetrators Thursday night in Crown Heights was caught on surveillance camera.
The student was robbed of a large sum of cash Thursday night in Crown Heights near Carroll Street and Troy Avenue at approximately 11:15 PM.
A group of 3 black males approached the victim and displayed a gun, and demanded his property, the victim said. The muggers forcibly removed an envelope containing cash from the victim and fled on Troy Avenue.
Police and Shmira were called, who searched the area for the perpetrators.
Shmira volunteers soon located one of the perpetrators on East New York Avenue between Albany Troy Avenues and contacted the NYPD. He was placed under arrest.
Police are still searching for the other two perpetrators.

In January 2022 alone compared to January 2021, there has been an increase in criminal incidents of over 2500 cases.
I would also like to thank the council for chasing after Katherine Kochul. She is no better then Cuomo.
Maybe it’s time to vote her out of office .

Where is the police patrol? Like in previous years that were walking around in groups patrolling the streets? It’s Lev HaShchuna unfortunately the criminals feel free in CH and will come again to do the same, maybe same who were punching the kid before

The actual real problem is that criminals are let out on the streets because of the so-called bail reform policies. So of course no one is afraid to commit crimes anymore! It’s out of control!
