The Chicago Rabbinical Council (CRC) has advised that the Blackburn’s Grape Jelly with an expiration date after 3-25-23 is no longer Kosher certified.
This product was distributed in the CHJCC food pantry recently.
Please be advised, that due to kosher violations, Blackburn’s Grape Jelly and other jelly/jam products produced by T J Blackburn Syrup Works, Inc.- Jefferson, TX, are no longer certified and are being recalled.
Products with an expiration date of 3-25-23 and later should not be treated as a kosher even when bearing a Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc) or Texas-K (a cRc subsidiary) kosher symbol.
