Girls Told to Love the Rebbe

In honor of Chof Bais Shvat the Upper School (BRLH) girls at the Hebrew Academy Chabad in Huntington Beach, California had a beautiful seudah and speaker prepared and organized by their Bnos shluchos leaders.

While a few High School girls acted as counselors in the Young Shluchos camp at the Kinus, and some younger students were campers, the Bnos leaders brought the message of the Kinus to the ‘front lines’ of sunny southern California.

Mrs. Chani Perlmutter, a shlucha in Long Beach CA and the preschool director at the Hebrew Academy Chabad, spoke to the girls about the importance of the occasion while mentioning her father R’ Shimshon Stock’s OBM connection to the Rebbe.

She told the students, “You all should feel a hiskashrus to the Rebbetzin because of the magnitude of the effect the Rebbe has had on our lives.”

One of the Bnos leader said that Mrs. Perelmuter was the perfect speaker for the occasion, “She brought across the point and message of Chof Beis Shvat in a powerful manner and uplifted our spirit.”

“It was a beautiful program. Sitting together as a close knit group while we heard the speaker was very inspirational,” said Nehama, a student.
