Hundreds of Shluchim’s childrem serve the Rebbe’s call from their far-flung outposts, many of them without a single friend their age who shares their interests.
Enter the new “Ein Mishpocho” program meant to replicate the friendships and relationships these treasured ones lack and crave in a Chassidishe and nurturing setting.
Begun during this year’s Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim, the young participants were introduced to a fellow Shliach of their age and learned specially prepared material together as a chavrusa.
After the learning, each participant fills out a short quiz, and then gets to listen in on the week’s hilarious performance of the mysterious “Mr. Stroge.”
After the Kinus, a stunning “Ein Mishpocho” album was distributed to each participant. Each album has a frame for one Rebbe photo for each week, and every time they meet up with their chavrusa, they are mailed the picture of the week.
The program, under Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim and Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim, both divisions of The Shluchim Office – the Global Chabad-Lubavitch Resource Center, was only available to boys who attended the Kinus.
This week, the Shluchim Office has opened it to all Shluchim’s boys ages 8-13, who would like to take part in this monumental program.
To join and receive an album, visit ShluchimKids.org/EinMishpocho (“Don’t worry about any pictures you have missed – there will be many “make-up” opportunities to earn your missing pictures,” organizers say.)
