Flatbush Writes New Torah

A special neshama, leading to a special evening. On Motzoi Shabbos over 150 people gathered together for a Melava Malka celebrating the starting of a new Sefer Torah.

Merkaz Habracha of Flatbush is having the new Sefer written in memory of Bracha Yafit OBM, daughter Rabbi Yisroel Chein – founder of Merkaz Habracha organization.

Sunday, 2 Shevat marks her 21st Yartzeit. The Sefer is scheduled to be completed on 2 Shevat of next year.

Rabbi Shalom DovBer Chein opened the evening with divrei Torah and emphasizing the Rebbe’s campaign.

Bracha Yafit’s brother, Rabbi Yitzchak Chein, shared several stories about his sister which exemplified what a special Neshama she was. Finally, all in attendance were invited to write a letter in the new Sefer.
