The Kolel L’horaah Ma’asis of Crown Heights has completed this week the in-depth study of Hilchos Eruvin.
The Halachos of Eruvin include 71 Simanim, covering three main topics: Reshuyos, Eiruvei Chatzeros, and Eiruvei Tchumin (71 Simanim in total).
The Kolel curriculum for this year was to study the Halachos of Reshuyos and Eiruvei Chatzeros, a total of 51 Simanim, starting with the Tur and Beis Yosef, and continuing with the Shulchan Aruch, the Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Aruch, and the Piskei Din of the Tzemach Tzedek and the Rebbe.
The Kolel has concluded the studying before Shavuos, with the last Shiur on the topic (the 27th Shiur) being given this Monday, and will now begin Chazara with a test scheduled for Tu Be’av.

As this third year of the Kolel comes to a close, the Kolel is gearing up for a 4th successful year and is continuing registration for Yungeleit and Bochurim for the upcoming year, with an updated curriculum.
This coming year, we are looking for 20 Yungeleit and 10 Bochurim.
For the upcoming year, the curriculum will be: Morning Seder – Advanced Choshen Mishpat: Laws of partnerships and business transactions (Various Simanim from 157 to 237). Afternoon Seder: Laws of Writing a Gett.
The Kolel, established by the Menahel Rabbi Shlomo Greenwald in the summer of 5780, and led in conjunction with Rabbi Sholom Shuchat as Rosh Kolel, Rabbi Shraga Homnick as Sgan Rosh Kolel, and Rabbi Simon Jacobson as Mashpia, operates with the stated goal of teaching and training the next generation of Lubavitcher Rabonim and Dayanim.
The curriculum will focus on the practical, giving the Yungeleit & Bochurim options for Shimush and training, such as serving as Dayonim on Dinei Torah which the Kolel will provide free-of-charge to parties interested in this service.
