Elituv Appointed to Rabbinate

This week 15 Rabbis were elected to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. In a ceremony at President Shimon Peres's residence, the newly-appointed Rabbis promised to be loyal to their country and to fulfill their religious duties to the best of their abilities. Among the prestigious group was Lubavitcher Rabbi Shimon Elituv, who received the most votes. Photos
