Jewish schools from across South Florida united and joined together in a Lag BaOmer unity day.
Rabbi Shmuly Gutnick of Chabad Youth Network of Florida arranged a fun filled meaningful Lag Bomer unity gathering at the JCC of North Miami.
As students walked into the gymnasium they were greeted with live music and dancing clowns. The bleachers filled, and the fun began. Rabbi Shmuly started off the event by thanking all the schools for coming together and gave a short speech about the day of Lag BaOmer. Students from each school were called up to recite pesukim.
The excitement continued with spectacular shows and performances that amazed the crowd; acrobats, jugglers, circus balancing act, Miami extreme team, and more. Live music played and songs were sung, and the feeling of unity was felt by all. Tickets were handed out and amazing prized raffled off. Each student received a dime to give to charity and a balloon to take home with them.
Special thanks to the JCC, Aryeh leib Korf, Yonah Green and the bochurim of Yeshiva Gedola Miami, Mendy Schurder, and Rochele Barber.
