Contrary to my generally positive disposition, when I was an Aguna I often had thoughts of suicide, Chas V’ Shalom. The pain of being prevented from building a family was only surpassed by the coldness and indifference of so so many rabbanim who’s help I had sought. The lack of help and silent condoning of the Get-refusal was painful beyond description.
