A dangerous predator, who has 20 previous arrests, has been apprehended by the NYPD with the help of Shmira after he attempted to attack and assault teenage girls who came to Crown Heights as guests for Yomtov.
It happened on Monday afternoon, on Hoshana Raba at approximately 1:15pm. The perpetrator first followed his victims into the building where they are staying on Eastern Parkway, and he then followed them into the elevator.
The young girls became nervous and decided to exit the elevator while it was still on the ground floor, but the perpetrator joined them. The girls became terrified and ran to another nearby apartment where their friends were staying. While trying to safely get away and inside, the perpetrator pushed his way inside the apartment – while yelling directly to a girl that he’s going to assault her – in explicit terms.
Most of the girls fled to safety to outside the building, while others barricaded themselves inside the bathroom. The suspect then violently gained access into the bathroom. The victims bravely kicked him away and fled to the street.
Once all the girls were safely outside the building, they called Shmira who immediately responded to locate the suspect but by the time they arrived, the perpetrator had already fled.
Shmira immediately requested the NYPD to the scene while also remaining there for hours assisting the victims in making a police report and following up with the police process throughout Yomtov.
Shmira then obtained security footage showing clear images of the perpetrator and passed it on to the police department. Detectives recognized him immediately and he was arrested on Wednesday after committing another crime in another precinct.
Shmira is still currently working with the NYPD and the DA’s office to assist the victims who are still extremely traumatized.

I don’t know if it is the same dude but there’s a guy who looks like a boy who came from Morristown Again he looks like that type BT Asking Young underage girls for their phone numbers my daughter was one of them she gave him a mouthful how dare you ask teenagers for the number.just throwing it out there
There was a tall red bearded frum looking guy that came up to my friend (a girl) in the street and said offensive profanities that he wants to do. Disgusting.

But thank you for publicizing it. These girls were very brave & all of our daughters/ sisters/wives and guests need to start carrying pepper spray or very loud whistles.
New York needs MORE police – not less !
..Though only ones who are interested in arresting perpetrators and protecting the law abiding public.. I don’t see police patrolling the streets around here and we as a community have often seen them show preferential treatment to the criminals thus enabling them to do more of what they do.
He has many previous arrests. He has another arrest and will be out again. Sometimes we need to take the law into our own hands.
why is his picture not displayed? considering the fact that he’s got “20 previous arrests” there seems good chance he’ll be out again too soon, so we might as well know who to watch out for.
This political correctness is getting out of hand with the perpetrator’s id being protected and his liberty being protected – as he is set free again and again. The only ones in this city NOT protected are the law abiding.
I saw another man chasing a few Israeli girls screaming and harassing them on eastern parkway and nostrand..not a cop in sight

It’s pretty much guaranteed that he’ll do this again, and next time could be much worse.

So the other week one motzei shabbos I got followed by a black guy ,bh there were many Jews and this guy realized I wasn’t stupid… It is very possible it was the same person
We need the Israeli security to walk the streets and protect us. Some rich guy to support this,

Seriously, it seems relatively trivial to arrange at the very least a volunteer “Tishrei Guard” of former IDF individuals. There are so many Israelis who come for Tishrei, there’s definitely at least some of them who are former IDF, all that’s needed is to take advantage of their existing training.
