This week many boys from Rabbi Fischer’s seventh grade class in Oholei Torah joined for a course on Tzitzis tying.
The class was one of many initiatives from the extra-curricular club called ‘BuMP’ – Bar Mitzvah Program – a part of Oholei Torah’s Chayolei program, and is headed by Rabbi Mendy Kalmanson.
As part of BuMP, the boys are treated to Melaveh Malkahs and Mesibas Shabbosses weekly, as well as many other trips and events.
This week’s event included time to play in the school’s Game Room, followed by making the Tzitzis. Each child got the chance to make his own pair, guided by Reuven Roth. Following the event the boys davened Maariv at 770.
