Monday night, ohr l’yud tes kislev, the Shluchim and Chabad community members of Boston gathered for a Seuda and Farbrengen to celebrate the Yom Tov of Yud Tes Kislev.
The event, which doubled as a Hakhel event – as encouraged by the Rebbe to make Hakhel gatherings – brought together all the Shluchim and Chabad community members for a festive seudah with music and words of inspiration.
Rabbi Levi Fogelman of the Chabad of Natick who served as MC opened the evening, and introduced a video of the Rebbe and opening remarks by the host, Rabbi Chaim Prus of Beth Menachem Chabad. The evening highlight was a beautiful speech and stirring stories by Rabbi Yossi Lew of PeachTree City, Georgia who was the honored guest speaker.
There were simultaneous children’s programs for younger boys and girls. It was truly an inspiring evening and was followed by an informal farbrengen that went well into the night.
This event was underwritten by the Shluchim of Massachusetts, and was orchestrated by a dedicated group of Shluchim including,
Rabbi Alter Bukiet
Rabbi Moshe Bleich
Rabbi Yisroel New
Rabbi Shmuel Posner
Rabbi Sholom Ber Prus
